30 days of Magic: #22 Purifying

Time to do a mindset cleanse. Here are the simple steps for purifying your head so that you feel just a little bit less foggy.

  • Low tech day. Turn off your screens, even just for a few hours. Notice when you have the impulse to start one up and ask yourself if you really need to watch the silly kitten videos again or if there is something else you can do with your time.
  • Nature. This is always on the list, but is still valid. Get outside, change up your environment and enjoy the complexity of nature.
  • Hygiene. Take care of yourself a little bit extra today. Take a bubble bath, scrap your tongue, moisturize your skin and hair- whatever you have been lacking.
  • Water. Drink plenty of water. You need water for your body to work properly and cleanse out all the toxicines. Drink. More. Water.
  • Do something. Do something you love or that fuels your creative juices. An activity that you enjoy can do wonders to reset how you see the world around you.

My insights: I like to focus on one of these a day to bring a little cleansing into my life a little at a time. But some days just need a full day of cleansing. These are some of my favorite days to do with the family.

In the world: Note what elements in your life that bring ‘toxines’. These can be true chemical toxins or elements that pray on your mindset. Plan a purifying process for these.
