30 days of Magic: #16 Mother Earth

Today we look at how we can better protect our planet. We are all part of the problem and the solution. Every little bit helps, so take some time today to help our Mother Earth. Here are a few ideas to get you started: (but look up more- there is a ton you can do!)

Conserve water: Be very cognizant of the water you use and in what areas you could conserve. Check if your faucets or toilets have a slow leak. Turn off the water when you are brushing your teeth. And only water your yard during the cooler parts of the day.

Plant a tree: Trees produce oxygen and clean the air. Plus- some produce food and combat climate change.

Light bulbs: Replace all your light bulbs with energy saving ones. This reduces greenhouse gas emissions and they last longer too.

My insights: I love this idea of taking care of our Earth- I usually plant at least one tree a year (already planted one this year), we recycle, and all our light bulbs are energy efficient bulbs. Water conservation is always an ongoing journey. But I love the idea of taking care of the planet for future generations.

In the world: Don’t get to overwhelmed with all the ways you can help the earth. Don’t be unkind to yourself either if you are not perfect at it. It takes time and habits for long term progress. Every little bit helps!

I would love to see who is going on this journey alongside me- so use the hashtag #30daysofMagic, tag me with @jessietherapy (facebook or instagram) , or message me so I can share your experience too.

See you in the blooms Friends!
